Change of data in the road transport operator licence/Community licence/extract from the Community licence (transport of goods) (LR2)

Do you have a road transport operator licence and your company name or address details have changed? Notify the changes to the General Inspectorate of Road Transport (GITD). Read below to find out how to complete this procedure.

What you should know and who can use this service

An entrepreneur who holds a road transport operator licence, a Community licence or an extract from the licence, must notify any change in the data included in the application for the licences.

You must notify the changes within 28 days from the date on which the data have changed.

  1. Application to change the data

Time limit

You must notify the changes within 28 days from the date on which the data have changed.

  1. The authority will check your application

If your application contains any formal defects (for instance, if you have made an error in the application or failed to attach the necessary documents), the authority will request that you correct the defects. You will have at least 7 days to complete this. If you do not correct the errors within the set time limit, your case will not be further processed.

  1. The authority will change the data in the road transport operator licence/Community licence/extract from the Community licence

The Chief Inspectorate of Road Transport will change the data in the documents. You will receive a new form (new form number) of the road transport operator licence/Community licence/extract from the licence with the name or address updated.

How much you will have to pay

  • the fee for changing the data included in the road transport operator licence - PLN 100
  • the fee for changing the data in the licence for international commercial road transport of goods issued for a period of:
    • up to 5 years - PLN 400 + PLN 200 for each extract from the licence
    • from 5 years to up to 10 years - 800 PLN + 400 PLN for each extract from the licence

The fee must be paid to the account number indicated by the General Inspectorate of Road Transport on its website. State your Tax Identification Number (NIP) in the description of the bank transfer.

 

How long you will have to wait

Your case will be settled within one month. This period may be extended to two months, subject to notification by the official.

How can you appeal

If you receive a decision on the refusal to change the data, you can apply to the General Inspectorate of Road Transport for reconsideration of your case. Submit your application within 14 days of receiving the decision on the refusal.
