The user of hazardous substances is required to return to the seller all reusable packaging and waste packaging after the use of these substances.
If the return referred to above is not possible due to the interruption or cessation of the seller's activity, the manufacturer, importer or conductor of the intra-EU acquisition of the hazardous substances is obliged to accept all reusable packaging and waste packaging from hazardous products from the users.
In 2014, the requirement of collecting and returning deposits for the above packaging and waste packaging has been canceled.
