Change in the Register of Establishments subject to the official control of authorities of the State Sanitary Inspection

What you should know and who can use this service
Entities operating in the food market or in the market of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food shall apply for a change of the data covered by the entry in the register of establishments under the official control of the State Sanitary Inspectorate.
If the applicant intends to change the scope of activity of the establishment (e.g. to expand or change production profile), or if the conditions in the establishment change, this requires a new decision of the State Sanitary Inspectorate to approve the establishment, which is preceded by an inspection at the establishment.

- District Sanitary-Epidemiological Stations
- Border Sanitary -Epidemiological Stations
Where an operator has establishments producing or placing on the market food subject to the jurisdiction of different State sanitary inspectors, separate applications must be submitted to each State sanitary inspector competent for the seat of the establishment.
With regard to movable and temporary facilities or equipment, the State District Sanitary Inspector or State Border Sanitary Inspector, competent for*, shall be responsible for any change of data:
seat of the establishment - for movable facilities or equipment
a place of business of the establishment which produces or markets food from these facilities or installations for temporary facilities or installations
* Before submitting an application, you should make sure by phone which of the state inspectors is competent to deal with the case (whether the case will be dealt with by the district or border inspector results from the internal arrangements of these authorities).

Submit application within 30 days from the date of change
Formal verification of the application
The State District Sanitary Inspector or State Border Sanitary Inspector checks whether the applicant has submitted all the necessary documents needed for the proper execution of the procedure.
If the application has formal defects, the State District Sanitary Inspector or State Border Sanitary Inspector requests the applicant to complete it within 7 days. The set time limit for completion of the application may be extended at a justified request of the applicant submitted before the expiry of the deadline. A failure to remove the formal defects within the set time limit causes that the application is left without examination.
Change of data in the Register of Establishments subject to the official control of authorities of the State Sanitary Inspection
The State District Sanitary Inspector or State Border Sanitary Inspector changes data in the Register of Establishments subject to the official control of authorities of the State Sanitary Inspection, which have been notified by the applicant, according to the content of the application.
