Declaration of Accessibility

The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology undertakes to ensure the accessibility of the website pursuant to the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The declaration of accessibility applies to the website

Date of website publication: 30/04/2018

Date of last major update: 22/04/2021

Accessibility status

The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to incompatibilities or exclusions listed below:

  • In some of the content posted on the website the order of elements placed in the DOM tree is different than on the page.
  • Some content posted on the website uses a table element to describe non-tabular content.
  • Not all form fields on the website have HTML attributes to support the mechanism for auto-filling content for these fields.
  • In some of the content posted on the website it is necessary to scroll in two dimensions when the content does not require a two-dimensional layout for understanding.
  • Archived e-learning materials included in the e-Official application, placed at the Academy, are digitally completely inaccessible.
  • 1.4.12 Text spacing (Level AA)
    • On the website the edition of line heights up to 1.5 times font size, letter spacing between letters in words up to 0.12 times font size and word spacing up to 0.16 font size are hindered in a way that prevents the loss of content or functionality.
  • 4.1.3 Status messages (Level AA)
    • All status messages presented on the website are semantically defined as alerts

The Academy

  • Archived e-learning materials in the Academy included in the e-Official application, placed at the Academy, are digitally completely inaccessible

CEIDG and Data Warehouse

  • The Report Editor within the Reporting Application of the CEIDG and Data Warehouse, due to its functional specificity (management of advanced graphical layout of report elements with the drag-n-drop interface – including their precise location, colour, etc.), and, consequently, the lack of technical capabilities to ensure compliance is digitally inaccessible.
  • 1.4.11 Contrast of non-text elements (Level AA)
    • Not all non-text elements in the document portal of the CEIDG and Data Warehouse Reporting Application have the appropriate level of contrast.
  • 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A)
    • Switching to the nested report preview window in the document portal of the CEIDG and Data Warehouse Reporting Application is not possible from the keyboard.
  • 4.1.1 Code correctness (Level A)
    • Some elements of the CEIDG and Data Warehouse Reporting Application do not have an id attribute.
  • 4.1.2 Name, role, value (Level A)
    • Not all elements within the CEIDG and Data Warehouse Reporting Application have correct, digitally accessible labels.

Work is currently underway to bring this into full compliance with the requirements of the law. The declaration was made on 23.10.2019 and modified on 20.04.2021. The declaration was prepared on the basis of a self-assessment conducted by the public entity

In this way, you can also submit requests for inaccessible information and make requests to ensure accessibility

Anyone has the right to request that the digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or some element thereof be ensured. You can also request that the information be made available in alternative forms, such as reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the contents of a film without audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is involved, and a method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative form, they should also specify the form of the information

The public entity should comply with the request immediately, and no later than within 7 days. If this deadline cannot be met, the public entity provides information immediately when it will be possible to comply with the request, with a deadline of no more than 2 months. If accessibility cannot be ensured, the public entity may propose an alternative way to access the information.

If an entity refuses to comply with the request to provide accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint may be lodged against such action. After all possibilities have been exhausted, the complaint can also be sent to the Polish Ombudsman.
